KitFox Vineyards Big Announcement

In a perpetual quest for excellence, the Vogel family will release three new varietals wines in the coming years.   Our finest fruit from our estate vineyards will grace each bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and Viognier to make up our three Ultra-Premium wines.

Cabernet Sauvignon

The finest fruit from our " Sunflower Ranch Vineyard " will be selected for the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon.   Low yield, hand picked, cold soaked with extended maceration, and two years minimum in new French Oak are just a few of the highlights. We will only bottle fewer than 2,000 cases of this wine and it is scheduled to be released sometime in the middle of 2007.

Syrah & Viognier

Our Syrah and Viognier offerings will be made in even smaller amounts.   Approximately 1,200 cases of Syrah and only 600 cases of our Viognier designated from " Carson's Vineyard " which takes its name from my only daughter.   The Syrah will be released just prior to the Cabernet Sauvignon and our special "Carson's Vineyard' Viognier will lead the releases with an expected date sometime in Spring of 2006.

What to Expect

Chad Joseph, our winemaker, has complete command over this project and has every available resource at his disposal to make the best possible artistic renditions of our vineyards fruit.   Our finest fruit combined with Chad's finest efforts.   These wines aged finesse will be well worth the wait
